Job summary

MMR Research Worldwide is seeking a commercially minded Sensory Centre Manager to head our UK Sensory Science Centre in Wokingham. You will lead the centre's scientific and operational performance, work with clients, and guide strategy to grow our sensory business.

You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in client projects, team development and business growth, ensuring exceptional sensory research and consultancy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years sensory research experience, ideally in an agency, manufacturer or consultancy.
• Strong expertise in descriptive analysis and sensory methodologies.
• Proven leadership and team development experience.
• Excellent client management and consultancy skills.
• Commercial acumen with experience contributing to growth and profitability.
• Degree in Sensory Science, Food Science, Psychology or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UK Sensory Science Centre's operational performance and delivery.
• Drive revenue growth, client retention and business development.
• Act as a sensory consultant and trusted client advisor.
• Oversee design and delivery of complex sensory research programmes.
• Coach and develop a high-performing sensory team.
• Build partnerships across internal teams and champion innovation.
