MMR Research Worldwide is seeking a commercially minded Sensory Centre Manager to head our UK Sensory Science Centre in Wokingham. You will lead the centre's scientific and operational performance, work with clients, and guide strategy to grow our sensory business.

You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in client projects, team development and business growth, ensuring exceptional sensory research and consultancy.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years sensory research experience, ideally in an agency, manufacturer or consultancy.
• Strong expertise in descriptive analysis and sensory methodologies.
• Proven leadership and team development experience.
• Excellent client management and consultancy skills.
• Commercial acumen with experience contributing to growth and profitability.
• Degree in Sensory Science, Food Science, Psychology or related discipline.

We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded sensory manager to head up our UK Sensory Science Centre and play a key role in the continued growth of our sensory business.

As MMR's UK Sensory Science Centre Manager, you'll lead the operational, commercial and scientific performance of the centre, working closely with clients, colleagues and senior leaders to deliver exceptional sensory research and consultancy. You'll combine strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in client projects, team development and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manager the UK Sensory Science Centre, ensuring outstanding delivery, quality and operational performance.
• Drive commercial success through revenue growth, client retention and business development.
• Act as a sensory consultant and trusted advisor to clients.
• Oversee the design and delivery of complex sensory research programmes.
• Manage, coach and develop a high-performing sensory team.
• Build strong partnerships across MMR's Consumer Research, Data Science, Statistics and Commercial teams.
• Champion innovation and contribute to the development of MMR's global sensory capabilities.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

You'll bring strong experience in sensory science along with proven leadership and people management skills. You are equally comfortable discussing methodology with technical teams, presenting recommendations to clients and driving commercial performance.

We're particularly interested in candidates with:

• 7 years+ sensory research experience, ideally gained within an agency, manufacturer or consultancy environment.
• Strong expertise in descriptive analysis and sensory methodologies.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams.
• Excellent client management and consultancy skills.
• Commercial acumen, including experience contributing to business growth and profitability.

A degree in Sensory Science, Food Science, Psychology or a related discipline
