Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a Consulting Engineer for the UK Customer Experience team in the London area to design and deliver advanced network solutions with emphasis on security and performance. You will work with CX teams, engineers, and partners to implement SDA/SD-WAN, leveraging AI and automation, and ensure customer outcomes while maintaining UK security clearance readiness.

The role requires 5+ years of consulting experience, CCNP or Cisco DevNet, and deep knowledge of Catalyst gear; a UK

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles.
• Deep knowledge of L2/L3 networking and Catalyst devices.
• Experience designing and deploying SDA/SD-WAN solutions.
• Experience integrating network security appliances (firewalls, IPS, etc).
• Professional level certifications (CCNP or Cisco DevNet) expected.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and implementation of Cisco technologies for large networks.
• Deliver scalable, robust services through technical leadership.
• Integrate AI and automation into delivery practices.
• Analyze and monitor network performance for optimization.
• Support complex problem resolution across multiple technologies.
• Develop repeatable delivery frameworks and knowledge sharing.
• Provide feedback to influence future product roadmaps.
