Job summary

Cisco's Customer Experience (CX) team in the UK is seeking a Consulting Engineer to design and implement advanced network solutions, ensuring security and high availability for national clients.

The role requires 5+ years in customer-facing technical consulting, hands-on Catalyst platform experience, SDA/SD-WAN, and automation (Python/Ansible/Terraform). A UK Security Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• CCNP or Cisco DevNet or equivalent certification.
• 5+ years in customer-facing technical consulting, pre-sales, and/or service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and implementation of Cisco technologies for large customer networks.
• Leverage technology to deliver scalable, robust services.
• Integrate AI and automation into delivery practices to streamline deployment processes.
• Analyze network performance and provide optimization options.
• Support team for complex problem resolution across multiple technologies.
• Develop reusable delivery frameworks and share knowledge across teams.
• Provide feedback to Engineering and Product to influence future roadmaps.
