Job summary

Fractory, a fast-growing digital manufacturing platform, is hiring a Regional Sourcing Manager (UK Market) based in Manchester. You will own manufacturing partner selection, negotiation, and order execution for the UK, building relationships with suppliers and ensuring quotes meet job requirements.

You’ll work with Project Engineers and Account Managers to optimize RFQs, chase quotes, manage delivery, and push improvements.

Qualifications

• Based in the UK, preferably Manchester; hybrid with visits to manufacturing partners across the UK
• Technical grounding in mechanical engineering; read drawings, understand tolerances and materials
• Commercial instincts; negotiate price, lead time, and terms with suppliers
• Fast-moving operational role with clear KPIs and ownership
• Build long-term relationships but hold partners accountable

Responsibilities

• Select manufacturing partners for each order based on capability and capacity
• Negotiate quotes, lead times, and technical fit with suppliers
• Own orders from quote to delivery and coordinate with internal teams on quality and packing
• Act as the UK region partner account manager with regular check-ins and site visits
• Drive RFQ efficiency by reducing fan-out and improving response quality
• Negotiate ongoing commercial terms with repeat partners and monitor performance
• Provide real-world capability signals to the wider team for continuous improvement
• Maintain up-to-date partner records and performance dashboards
