Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited in Nottingham is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to own supplier strategy across business units, drive cost and risk improvements, and partner with senior stakeholders to support growth and investment initiatives.

You will lead sourcing roadmaps, maintain the ASL, onboard and audit suppliers, and negotiate robust supplier agreements. The role requires managing APQP/PFMEA and may involve UK/International travel to key supplier sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in global sourcing / supplier management within manufacturing
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills with cost-down track record
• Ideally CIPS Level 5+ or degree, with ability to read engineering drawings

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies, supplier agreements and risk mitigation plans
• Supplier onboarding, audits, capability assessments and ongoing supplier development
• Maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and lead supplier performance improvement
• Support customer projects and NPI activity including APQP / PFMEA involvement
• UK and international travel for supplier visits (UK, Europe, Far East / North America)
