Job summary

Thales is recruiting a Radar Sales Manager in the UK to lead the growth of UK radar capabilities across defence and national security. You will shape capture strategies, drive opportunities from shaping through contract award, and manage senior stakeholder engagements across Government, MoD and industry.

This high-visibility role requires strong radar expertise, proven sales or capture leadership, and the ability to navigate complex, multinational campaigns while maintaining security clearance.

Qualifications

• Proven success in sales or capture leadership within defence, security or advanced technology sectors.
• Strong radar systems understanding and ability to translate technical solutions into customer value.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience leading multinational capture teams and high-value campaigns.
• Self-driven, collaborative, and able to operate in matrix organisations with SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UK Radar growth strategy and secure new business opportunities across defence and security markets.
• Own strategic capture and bid activities from shaping to contract award, leading engagements and proposals.
• Develop and maintain influential relationships with Government, MoD, industry partners and ecosystems.
• Drive market intelligence and future capability development to influence strategy and roadmaps.
• Champion cross-functional collaboration across engineering, commercial, bid, marketing and programmes teams while ensuring compliance.
