Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited seeks an experienced UK Payroll Specialist for a 12-month assignment in Central London. You will manage UK payroll end-to-end using SAP, ensuring accurate remuneration on pay dates and compliance with statutory obligations.

You will handle day-to-day workloads, validate tax forms, pensions, and benefits, and work with internal teams and the payroll provider to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislation (PAYE, NICs, statutory payments).
• Experience processing 3000+ payrolls in a large organisation.
• Ability to apply legislation to payroll processes and mitigate risk.
• GDPR compliance and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Process UK SAP payroll end-to-end ensuring accurate remuneration on pay dates.
• Validate and approve TDS, tax forms, and maternity/pension considerations.
• Resolve escalated payroll queries in a timely manner.
• Manage day-to-day payroll workflow and liaise with stakeholders and payroll provider.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and HR data governance.
• Assist with payroll audits and projects as required.
• Ensure Auto Enrolment and RTI adherence.
