Job summary

Mpeople Recruitment North West is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join the finance team of a well-established global organisation in Royton, Oldham. The role offers 37 hours per week, with flexible start/finish times within 8:00am–4:30pm, and a salary of £28,000–£30,000 per annum depending on experience.

The successful candidate will have at least two years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and solid knowledge of UK payroll procedures including PAYE, pensions and P60s.

Qualifications

• Two years' payroll experience.
• Good understanding of UK payroll processes, PAYE, pensions and P60s.
• Strong Excel skills and payroll reporting experience.
• Excellent numerical accuracy.
• Confidential handling of employee information.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for 100+ employees accurately and on time.
• Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and analyse daily/weekly payroll reports.
• Complete statutory payroll returns and general payroll administration.
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation and HMRC requirements.
• Support PAYE, pensions and P60 processing.
