Job summary

Berenberg Green Energy Debt seeks a Payroll & Mobility Specialist to lead UK payroll and benefits coordination, with involvement in international payroll and mobility topics from London. You will work with external providers to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely processing, while supporting cross-border assignments and travel.

The role requires advanced Excel skills, strong UK tax knowledge and experience handling mobility-related tax and social security issues in a global context.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in UK payroll and benefits.
• Strong working knowledge of UK personal tax.
• Solid understanding of tax, social security and pension implications in an international context.
• Practical experience in Global Mobility topics.
• Advanced Excel skills and structured, analytical working.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign-off of UK and international payrolls with external providers.
• Ensure accurate payroll data processing, including statutory calculations.
• Oversee payroll compliance with tax, legal and internal controls.
• Support reconciliations and related reporting.
• Coordinate and review benefit schemes, renewals and enrolment processes.
• Optimize payroll processes and migrations between providers.
• Act as key contact for mobility topics (secondments, business travel, tax, social security, pensions, visa).
