Job summary

Huawei Technologies Research & Development UK Limited is seeking a full-time Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end UK payroll, pension and benefits administration, and tax compliance. The role requires collaboration with HQ, vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely payroll delivery.

You will handle pension administration, compensation processes and expatriate tax filing, while maintaining GDPR and data confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in UK payroll operations.
• Solid knowledge of UK payroll legislation and pension administration.
• Experience with payroll data integration and taxable benefit processing.
• Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin Chinese advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end UK payroll, pension and benefits administration.
• Handle compensation activities including bonuses and salary reviews.
• Administer expatriate tax filing and related coordination.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and GDPR.
• Support payroll vendors and HQ coordination.
• Provide employee pay/tax support and internal stakeholder updates.
