Kurt J. Lesker Company Ltd in Hastings, UK, seeks an experienced UK Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing area. You will drive operational excellence, safety, and quality while shaping strategy and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities include leading planning, production, engineering and procurement activities, delivering KPI targets, and advancing Lean initiatives, digital reporting, and continuous improvement across the site.

Formación

• Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Extensive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Lean, 6S, CAPA, process mapping and performance management.
• Demand, resource, and material planning and scheduling experience.
• Experience in facility layout and expansion planning.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and oversight to deliver quality products on time and within budget.
• Oversee shop floor operations, planning, procurement and engineering performance via KPIs.
• Ensure a safe, compliant and inclusive working environment per UK regulations.
• Develop and implement daily performance management using D365 or Power BI.
• Drive root cause analysis and CAPA to resolve challenges.
• Coordinate CARs and ensure LTCAs implemented.
• Project manage critical projects and update Sales and Customers.
• Monitor performance using D365, Power BI, and other systems.
• Lead Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement across the facility.
• Prepare capital investment proposals and ROI analyses.
• Manage budgets, timelines and resources.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation and training materials.
• Promote best practices, sustainability and innovation.
• Interact with Sales, Customers and Vendors as needed.
• Track Corporate Quality Goals and drive improvements.
• Stay informed on manufacturing tech trends.
• Ensure environmental compliance (ISO14001).
• Occasional travel within Europe and internationally.
• Other duties as assigned.
