Job summary

Hexcel is seeking a senior manufacturing leader to oversee production operations at our United Kingdom site. You will lead a large team, drive safety, quality and efficiency, and coordinate with planning, maintenance, engineering, and R&D to achieve business targets.

The role requires a degree in a relevant engineering or science field, strong communication, and proven experience managing multiple projects in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering or Materials Science.
• Experience as supervisor/manager in manufacturing.
• Experience with multiple technologies and handling several projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a 50+ employee team, including supervisors and technical staff.
• Manage production operations to meet quality, cost, delivery and performance targets.
• Develop and implement annual production plans.
• Ensure products meet customer requirements and delivery schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis and Kaizen.
