Job summary

Whatnot is seeking a Head of Launch for the UK to define category strategy, build a cross-functional team, and lead the UK launch of new verticals with seller onboarding, community activation, and growth initiatives.

You will own the UK market strategy, oversee cross-functional execution, and partner with leadership to ensure rapid, sustainable growth across UK communities and seller ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in fast-paced, client-facing roles (strategy consulting, VC, PE, or partnerships).
• Fluent in English with UK market knowledge.
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
• Experience launching new products, categories, or markets from scratch.
• Strong data-driven decision-making and metrics focus.

Responsibilities

• Define the UK category strategy and rollout plan.
• Lead and develop a cross-functional team of launchers for seller onboarding, growth, and community events.
• Launch new UK verticals with market validation, supply mapping, and GTM execution.
• Drive growth initiatives and data-driven experiments across categories.
• Advocate UK market insights in product and business decisions.
