Job summary

Redline Group Ltd is seeking an Account Manager - Electronic Components to join our client’s permanent team, covering the UK. You will drive growth across UK and Ireland, managing major accounts and developing new business opportunities in engineering markets.

You will build strong relationships, provide commercial and technical support, and work with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements. UK travel and a proactive, self-motivated approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in technical sales, account management or business development.
• Experience selling into engineering or electronics markets.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Experience managing and growing customer relationships.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own territory.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage key customer accounts across the UK & Ireland.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within target engineering markets.
• Build long-term relationships with customers, providing commercial and technical support.
• Grow market share across sectors including aerospace, defence and industrial engineering.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to negotiation and account development.
• Work closely with technical sales, marketing and international colleagues to support customer requirements.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and identify opportunities for continued business growth.
• Represent the business professionally at customer meetings and industry events as required.
