IG Group is seeking an Assistant Portfolio Manager for UK Investment Operations to support the management of IG Smart Portfolios in partnership with BlackRock. You will handle model portfolio oversight, perform risk reporting, and respond to client queries with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

The role involves collaboration with multiple teams and third-party providers, contributing to commentary and client materials while scaling thematic investing initiatives within a growing portfolio

Competenze

• Strong Excel modelling skills and familiarity with Bloomberg.
• Working knowledge of ETFs, asset allocation and risk metrics such as volatility, tracking error and risk contribution.
• Clear written English with ability to explain investment performance to a retail audience.
• Care and accuracy in operational work with sound judgement on escalation.

• Support day-to-day management of model portfolios across risk profiles.
• Run portfolio rebalancing operations with accuracy and controls.
• Contribute to ETF selection and due diligence.
• Produce monthly investment commentary and client materials.
• Own monthly reporting cycles and deliver timely analytics to stakeholders.
