Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics is seeking an experienced Customs Manager to oversee UK import clearance, broker coordination, and cross-border duties. You will lead a small team and work cross-functionally with retail, logistics, finance and legal.

You will ensure compliance with UK customs rules, optimise lead times, and build standard processes. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in customs or international logistics are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, Customs, Business or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in customs, customs clearance, international logistics, or cross-border operations.
• Strong understanding of UK import customs clearance procedures and trade documentation.
• Experience leading a small team and coordinating with multiple internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of UK import customs clearance for cross-border shipments, including port clearance and day-to-day execution.
• Manage relationships with customs brokers, clearance agents, and freight forwarders; set expectations and monitor performance.
