Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics is seeking a UK-based Customs Operations professional to manage daily import clearance, coordination with brokers, and documentation control. The role involves ensuring accurate filings, timely clearance, and handover to warehouses within a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will work with China-based teams and UK partners, ensuring compliance with CDS and trade docs. Proactive issue resolution, cost control, and attention to detail are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in UK import clearance or related role.
• Working knowledge of CDS and trade documentation.
• Fluent Mandarin and strong written and spoken English.
• Proficiency with Excel and operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Import customs operations from documentation to clearance and handover.
• Coordinate with China-based teams, suppliers, brokers and UK service providers.
• Manage inspections, exception handling and escalation for delays.
• Maintain complete and auditable records for audits and broker reviews.
• Monitor costs and reduce avoidable clearance expenses.
