Job summary

isepglobal is seeking an experienced UK Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to lead a UK multi-site HSE function across Killingholme, Purfleet and Liverpool. You will manage seven HSE Advisors, drive consistency in standards and build strong relationships with operational teams in a high-risk logistics environment.

The role requires a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and extensive UK HSE experience across multiple sites, with travel between locations and a pragmatic, hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing a team of HSE professionals.
• Strong UK-based HSE experience in complex, high-risk operations.
• Experience in logistics, ports or complex distribution is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of seven HSE Advisors across three UK locations.
• Drive greater consistency in HSE standards, processes and ways of working across the UK operation.
• Build relationships with operational teams and provide practical HSE support.
• Provide visible, hands-on HSE leadership across Killingholme, Purfleet and Liverpool.
• Support management of operational risks including cranes, lifting operations, LOLER, dangerous goods and equipment maintenance.
• Support major operational developments, including the commissioning and integration of new RTG cranes.
• Lead and support incident investigations, risk management, assurance and continuous improvement activities.
• Develop greater collaboration across the HSE team, creating one aligned UK function.
• Work closely with senior leadership to identify emerging risks and continually improve HSE performance.
• Help establish a consistent UK HSE operating model with potential to support wider European operations.
