Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Solutions Architect for UK Public Sector Healthcare to partner with NHS trusts and health bodies, designing cloud architectures at scale. You’ll lead discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and PoCs for AI/ML, interoperability, and data challenges across the NHS.

You will present technical proposals to senior leaders and collaborate with AWS teams to influence the product roadmap, sharing best practices and reference architectures through varied channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military
• Experience in customer-facing roles
• Experience in a technical role involving cloud computing, systems design, software development, or infrastructure architecture
• Experience designing and building distributed systems or architectures in a production environment
• Experience with generative AI or machine learning technologies in an enterprise environment
• Experience communicating technical concepts across both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Partner with NHS trusts, national health bodies, and Health Technology organisations to design and deliver cloud architectures that address clinical, operational, and data challenges at scale
• Lead technical engagements including discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and proof-of-concept builds for healthcare workloads spanning AI/ML, analytics, interoperability, and IoT
• Develop and present technical proposals to senior stakeholders including Chief Clinical Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, and programme directors
• Collaborate with AWS service teams to shape healthcare-relevant capabilities and bring customer feedback into the product roadmap
• Create and share best practices, technical content, and reference architectures and educate about AWS technology through workshops, meetups, public speaking, or conferences
