Job summary

WSP is seeking a Ground & Water EIA Lead to coordinate Ground & Water specialists across UK EIA projects. You will liaise between EIA Project Managers, Technical Directors and Market Leaders to plan resources and ensure Ground & Water services are integrated into delivery.

You will identify opportunities, manage scopes of work, and support major bids while maintaining technical excellence and consistency across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership.
• Strong understanding of the UK EIA process and environmental planning framework.
• Experience in Ground & Water disciplines (contaminated land, hydrogeology, groundwater, environmental permitting).
• Experience on multidisciplinary infrastructure or development projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to coordinate technical teams across offices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Ground & Water inputs to EIA projects across the UK.
• Act as liaison between Ground & Water and EIA teams.
• Identify resource needs and secure qualified specialists.
• Develop scopes of work, fee proposals and project programmes.
• Provide technical oversight and QA of Ground & Water inputs to EIA statements.
• Promote consistency in assessment methodologies and mitigation strategies.
