Job summary

IMI Climate Control is seeking a Project Manager UK & Germany to lead cross‑functional teams in delivering heating and cooling projects. You will drive initiation through closure, define scope, plans, budgets, and ensure quality and on‑time delivery across manufacturing environments.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with experience in Agile/Scrum and a willingness to travel for project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, electronic, or automation engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment with a predictive/hybrid approach.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum is a plus.
• Proven track record of managing concept and new product development (NPD) projects.
• Strong project management skills with proficiency in project management software.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• PMP or similar certification is highly desirable.
• German language skills is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Willingness to travel for project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cross functional project team, establish the project execution approach, allocate and manage resources, and oversee activities to achieve all project goals.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor and control project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risks, ensuring that proper risk responses actions are in place and opportunities are actively pursued.
• Provide guidance and coaching to team members as appropriate.
• Conduct quality reviews and implement necessary improvements.
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and team members.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on project status, risks, and outcomes. Generate regular project status reports for management review.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation in accordance with IMI processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
