Job summary

Persona, the configurable identity platform, is hiring its first Forward Deployed Engineer in the UK. You will partner with Solutions Engineering, Sales and Customer Success to translate customer needs into practical integrations and proofs of concept, then help deploy solutions.

You’ll write code, navigate APIs, and own technical projects while shaping how we share knowledge and onboard new teammates. Some travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineering or solutions engineering experience delivering customer-facing software.
• Experience building API integrations using REST/HTTP/JSON.
• Ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases and build reliable solutions.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Build customer solutions using Persona APIs, integrations, and workflows.
• Support technical discovery and proofs of concept with Sales and Solutions Engineering.
• Help customers launch by configuring, testing, and implementing solutions with teammates.
• Investigate technical challenges and troubleshoot integration issues with Engineering.
• Create sample code, documentation, and tools to help customers and teammates.
• Share customer feedback with Product and Engineering for improvements.
