Job summary

Wayve is seeking a Head of Fleet Operations (UK) to own the end-to-end UK on-road testing strategy, coordinating Shift Leads across two shifts. You will ensure safe, efficient operations in London and nationwide, partnering with Fleet Servicing, Maintenance, Field Engineering, Safety, Training, and Product teams to align testing with company goals.

• Own deployment of UK on-road testing strategy and translate milestones into detailed plans.
• Deliver testing outputs and metrics, ensuring targets are met.
• Optimize resource allocation and scheduling for maximum productivity.
• Directly manage and allocate work across shifts with clear accountability.
• Adapt plans as customer needs and technology evolve.
• Bridge strategy with on-ground execution across multiple teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing procedures and safety protocols.
• Own on-road risk for the UK and lead incident escalation decisions.
• Coordinate with global Fleet Ops leadership to align standards.
