Job summary

Air Liquide UK is seeking an experienced Fleet Engineer to support maintenance across a mixed fleet of trucks, trailers and cryogenic equipment. You will act as the technical interface between fleet operations, workshops and suppliers, driving reliability and compliance in line with company standards.

The role requires a formal engineering qualification and strong analytical skills to review costs, downtime and asset performance.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on experience in HGV/fleet engineering and maintenance.
Experience with fleet reliability, maintenance costs and KPIs.
Knowledge of UK fleet legislation and inspection regimes.

Responsibilities

Support the management of fleet maintenance with workshops and service providers.
Monitor fleet reliability, availability and maintenance performance.
Ensure vehicles and equipment remain compliant with legal and company requirements.
Review maintenance records, inspections and defect rectification standards.
Provide technical support for tractors, trailers and cryogenic equipment.
