Job summary

Air Liquide UK is seeking an experienced Fleet Engineer to provide technical leadership across our UK transport operations, including Energas. You will ensure fleet assets are maintained, compliant with legal requirements and company standards, and developed to meet operational needs.

The role interfaces with maintenance providers, workshops and transport management to improve reliability, reduce downtime and manage whole-life fleet performance.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on experience in HGV/fleet engineering and maintenance.
Mechanical or automotive engineering degree with strong diagnostic skills.
Strong knowledge of UK fleet legislation and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

Oversee fleet maintenance by internal workshops and external providers.
Monitor fleet reliability and maintenance performance; drive improvements.
Ensure vehicles and trailers comply with legal and company requirements.
Provide technical leadership for fleet engineering activities and procurement support.
