Job summary

Pliant is seeking a Business Development Manager for the UK to drive growth of its modular payments platform. You will build relationships with prospective customers, demonstrate how Pliant’s digital credit card and payments solution can save time and costs, and collaborate with Customer Success, Underwriting and Product Management to hit KPIs.

Based in the UK (remote), with optional co-working spaces in London or Manchester, you will lead UKI expansion, gather market insights, and help tailor

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in sales or business development in fintech, SaaS or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial technology, credit, lending and B2B payments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience launching and scaling products/services in new markets, ideally within the UK.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Identify and build relationships with key UK prospects and convert leads into customers.
• Manage end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Represent Pliant at industry events and client meetings in the UK and Ireland.
• Provide market insights and recommendations for GTM strategies.
• Help define UKI expansion and adapt product for market needs.
• Collaborate with sales, growth, revops, and report progress to management.
