Failte Solar is recruiting a Financial Accountant to join the UK finance team in Redditch. The role focuses on day-to-day accounting, reporting, and balance sheet control for the UK entity, with support for EU subsidiaries.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years PQE, experience in the power generation/construction sectors, and strong Excel and ERP (Odoo) skills. Immediate start offered in a growing, sustainability-driven company.

Qualifications

• Strong Experience in similar roles.
• Located near the Redditch office.
• 5+ years post-qualification experience in a similar role.
• Experience of Power Generation Industry, Construction & Engineering.
• Working knowledge of strong control environments.

Responsibilities

• Based in Redditch office with responsibility for day to day accounting and reporting of the UK entity.
• Assist with EU subsidiaries with support from Group financial controller.
• Manage intercompany transactions, including intercompany billing.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Liaise with external auditors and maintain policies and procedures.
