Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced food processing equipment across the UK. You will travel to customer sites, diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and provide clear service reports while building strong customer relationships.

The role offers autonomy, a company vehicle, and opportunities for international travel for installations and training.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in field service, maintenance, or working with industrial machinery.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, service, maintenance, and repair at customer sites across the UK with occasional travel abroad.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical & electrical faults quickly to minimise downtime.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance for optimal equipment performance.
• Provide clear and detailed service reports after each visit.
• Support customers with operational, maintenance, and troubleshooting guidance.
• Identify spare parts requirements and potential upgrade opportunities.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
