Job summary

Vintage.com is seeking a Payroll Manager to own the UK payroll end-to-end and oversee outsourced international payrolls, starting with the Netherlands and expanding to more countries. The role sits in Finance and collaborates closely with People and Operations to ensure accurate, timely payments.

You will use strong technical payroll expertise and stakeholder management to build resilient controls, audit-ready records, and compliant processes across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Five years of payroll experience with UK knowledge and EU exposure.
• Excellent understanding of UK payroll legislation, HMRC reporting and compliance.
• Experience overseeing outsourced international payroll providers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end monthly UK payroll data preparation, validation, approval and reporting.
• Coordinate payroll changes with People team for starters, leavers, salary changes and benefits.
• Process statutory payments and maintain supporting records.
• Oversee outsourced Dutch payroll and liaise between internal teams and provider.
• Ensure accuracy, resolve discrepancies before payroll finalisation.
• Lead improvements to payroll systems, data flows and controls across countries.
