Job summary

AB Agri is hiring a People Relations Specialist – UK to support employee relations across the UK with regular travel to sites. This 6-month FTC role offers a salary from £35,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package including a discretionary bonus, car allowance, private healthcare and pension contributions up to 10%.

You will navigate complex people issues, advising leaders and managers to achieve fair, legally sound outcomes while strengthening trust and performance regionally.

Qualifications

• Experience managing employee and industrial relations cases with knowledge of employment law.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with managers, employees and union representatives.
• Confidence advising on complex, sensitive people issues with discretion and professionalism.
• Ability work in a process-driven environment at pace.
• A pragmatic, solution‑focused approach with resilience and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Managing high volume employee relations cases, including long term sickness, grievances, disputes and performance issues
• Advising leaders and managers on ER, IR, policy and employment law matters, acting as a trusted partner
• Supporting regional change initiatives, including restructures and policy implementation, with clear communication and stakeholder engagement
• Ensuring ER and IR practices are compliant
• Using data and insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities to improve employee relations outcomes
