UK Compliance & Data Protection Analyst

Job summary

Reserv is hiring a Compliance Analyst – UK to support adherence to UK regulatory requirements and best practices. You will help develop and implement compliance programs, respond to GDPR DSARs, DPA and RAD1 requests, and assist in risk mitigation for our evolving insurtech operations.

You will work under guidance from a manager, handling UK complaints, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with claims, technology and quality teams to enhance compliance automation and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in risk/compliance.
• 2–3 years in compliance, complaints or claims in UK insurance.
• Knowledge of FCA rules and the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).
• Experience drafting procedures and training materials; data protection experience preferred.
• Experience responding to DSARs and DPA requests.

Responsibilities

• Manage UK complaints from intake to resolution, including vulnerable customers.
• Respond to GDPR DSARs, verify requests, gather data, apply redactions, meet deadlines.
• Process DPA and RAD1 requests with accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor sanctions screening alerts for payments per UK requirements.
• Maintain organized records and escalate breaches or data incidents promptly.
• Support audits and regulatory inquiries with prepared materials.
