Job summary

Modis is seeking a Data Protection Coordinator in the UK to embed data privacy best practices across the business. You will work with IT, Legal and HR to ensure personal data is managed responsibly and compliance obligations are met.

You will coordinate DSARs, assist with DPIAs, maintain ROPA, and support privacy investigations. The role offers hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package with a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Understanding of UK GDPR and data protection legislation.
• Experience handling Data Subject Rights Requests (DSARs).
• Knowledge of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Experience maintaining Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
• Knowledge of data incident management and breach response.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the organisation's data protection and privacy programme.
• Coordinate DSARs and right to erasure requests.
• Assist teams with DPIAs and privacy risk assessments.
• Maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
• Support investigations into data protection incidents and breaches.
• Assist with regulatory reporting as needed.
• Review privacy implications of projects and third-party suppliers.
• Contribute to privacy risk assessments and DPA reviews.
• Develop and maintain privacy policies and guidance.
• Coordinate employee privacy training and awareness.
