PayPal UK seeks a Senior Director, Risk (Second Line of Defense) to provide independent oversight and governance across the risk landscape, developing and maintaining the UK risk management framework.

You will partner with UK and global executives to identify, assess, monitor and mitigate material risks, ensuring FCA requirements and consumer protection standards are met while protecting customers and the company.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of senior experience in risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of UK regulatory expectations is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategy for risk management aligned with PayPal's overall strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and mitigate risks impacting operations and assets.
• Inspire and lead teams to implement long-term sustainability and financial stability strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate risk exposure to ensure compliance and safeguard the organization’s reputation.
• Provide inputs and guidance to influence executive decision-making.
