Job summary

DUAL UK, part of Howden Group, seeks a Senior Manager – Risk & Compliance as Chief Risk Officer to lead the second line governance, risk management and regulatory compliance across the UK entity. You will attend the DCR Board and risk committees, oversee data protection and financial crime, and guide the Second Line Assurance program.

Hybrid London-based role with international collaboration; must have deep SMCR experience, strong leadership, communication, and integrity, and report to the CEO

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in risk and compliance within regulated insurance environments.
• Strong understanding of SMCR and UK regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to lead governance and policy development with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Risk & Control Frameworks operate effectively across DUAL UK.
• Oversee Risk & Compliance second line functions and regulatory liaison.
• Guide Data Protection and Financial Crime responsibilities for UK operations.
• Lead Second Line Assurance program and thematic reviews.
• Collaborate with global teams and regulators as required.
