American Express seeks an Analyst in the UK Chief Risk Officer, Testing & Monitoring to support second-line assurance and testing capabilities within GRC. You will help maintain risk assessments, develop multi-year testing plans, and coordinate remediation activities across lines of defence, communicating outcomes to governance committees.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in risk management or a similar role
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain the annual risk assessment for the market's legal entities
• Develop a multi-year testing plan based on the risk assessment across risk pillars
• Prioritise testing activity using risk-based methodologies
• Align testing activity with enterprise risk assessments
• Support second-line control reviews and prepare testing reports for senior management
• Define remediation monitoring and oversee corrective actions
• Enhance tools, metrics and reporting for senior management on risks
• Develop testing governance, policies and standards for second-line testing
• Coordinate assurance activities across first, second and third lines of defence
• Report findings and track remediation through committees
