BT Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Central Government Contracts to lead the management of the UK’s critical national infrastructure central government sector contracts from a Manchester base, with accountability for financial performance, risk and customer satisfaction. The role oversees a team and drives growth through strategic contract governance and change control.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the financial performance and risk position of the Sector.
• Owns all aspects of financial performance within the sector, including targets and cash flow.
• Owns budgeting, forecasting and monthly close within the sector.
• Monitors and drives ongoing commercial viability of the contract.
• Drives resource optimisation across internal functions supporting the contracts.
• Drives cost transformation and margin optimisation across all contracts.
• Ensures governance and compliance across contracts.
• Manages 3rd party suppliers and partners.
• Builds relationships with senior customer stakeholders at C-suite level.
• Lead for escalations on contractual/commercial topics.
