Job summary

Bellrock Group seeks a Building Performance Engineer to manage facilities engineering services under the Wakefield Council contract. The role is home based with regular UK travel, ensuring sub-contracted teams deliver compliant, high-quality maintenance and ESG-aligned outcomes.

You will work with the Compliance Manager and operations teams to optimise portfolios, implement sustainable improvements, and deliver detailed reporting across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering compliance across multiple sites in a facilities management context.
• Auditing and reporting to meet statutory and client requirements.
• Ability to communicate at all levels with stakeholders and clients.
• Knowledge of H&S regulations and maintenance regimes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation for engineering services across properties.
• Support statutory compliance and insurance inspections.
• Develop and implement condition-based maintenance strategies where appropriate.
• Monitor occupancy, compliance, and risk across the portfolio with internal teams and clients.
• Provide technical support on innovative energy and sustainability initiatives.
