Job summary

Bellrock is seeking a Building Performance Engineer to support the Wakefield Council contract. The role is home based with regular UK travel, working two days a week with the team in Wakefield.

You will aid the CM in delivering high-performing facilities services, ensure statutory compliance, and mentor operational teams. Key duties include maintaining regulatory knowledge, managing PPM and audits, delivering MI reporting, and driving ESG-focused workspace improvements across properties

Qualifications

• 5 years+ experience on multi-site or large FM contracts with reporting.
• Auditing experience in corporate environments.
• Strong client relationship skills in change environments.
• Ability to communicate at various levels internally and externally.
• Health and Safety qualifications.
• Engineering qualifications across M&E (CIBSE or HND).

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance for all Engineering services.
• Support compliance inspections and annual risk assessments.
• Explore maintenance strategies including condition-based maintenance.
• Monitor occupancy and ensure statutory regulation compliance with the FM team.
• Provide technical support with Energy & Sustainability Manager on innovations.
• Deliver MI reporting and KPI dashboards for the Compliance Manager.
• Manage PPM schedules and contractor performance.
• Develop contract performance insights using CAFM and client systems.
