Job summary

U.S. Bank (Elavon) in London seeks an experienced Compliance professional to lead UK regulatory and risk assessment frameworks. You will coordinate with local regulators and the Regulatory Affairs team, delivering risk assessments, regulatory change programs, and compliance training.

The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, strong project management, and the ability to drive compliance initiatives across the First and Second Lines of Defence.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (law, business, finance) and/or masters or related professional qualifications.
• 6+ years experience in a compliance role within financial services; regulatory engagement at senior level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and maintenance of the UK compliance and risk assessment framework for USBE in the UK.
• Design and deliver risk and compliance frameworks to support Third Country Branch status for UK operations.
• Assist in deployment and operation of the Bank’s Compliance and Conduct Risk programs including regulatory change and risk assessments.
• Act as the designated contact with local regulators and collaborate with Regulatory Affairs.
• Support execution of Second Line of Defence assurance and monitoring programs.
• Provide compliance guidance and training to management and staff to foster a culture of compliance.
