Job summary

A leading technology company in waterjet systems is seeking an Aftersales & Service Engineer to support high-pressure waterjet cutting systems across the UK. Responsibilities include service work, troubleshooting machine failures, and providing technical support to customers. The ideal candidate should have a technical education in mechanics and/or electronics, excellent communication skills, and be willing to travel. This position offers ongoing training and a fully expensed company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification is preferred but not essential.
• Flexible in location of work, must be willing to travel and prepared to stay away from home as required.
• Good command of English language is a must for internal company communication.

Responsibilities

• Service work, to include preventative maintenance, machine inspections and new installations.
• Troubleshoot and fix machine failures on site and remotely.
• Provide professional technical support to minimize downtime.

Skills

In UK We Are Looking For An After Sales & Service Engineer (m/f/d) for High Pressure Waterjet Cutting Systems

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Service work, to include preventative maintenance, machine inspections and new installations on customer sites.
• Troubleshoot, fix and report machine failures on site in person and remotely by telephone.
• Providing professional technical support to KMT customers to minimize downtime, with a pro-active approach to maintenance work.
• Promoting the sales of KMT spare parts and maintenance programs.
• Supporting the professional image of the KMT technical Service department and KMT genuine products.
• Be prepared for extensive travel and working away from home when required.
• Build trustworthy customer relationships through repeated service, sales and courtesy visits.

Required Skills And Qualifications
