UK Accountant – Month-End & Compliance Lead

Job summary

Finalto is seeking an experienced Accountant to take ownership of UK accounting and financial reporting for the UK operations. You will lead month-end and year-end close, prepare management information, and coordinate statutory accounts, audits, tax and compliance deliverables.

You will work with local and regional stakeholders, external auditors, tax advisers and service providers to maintain robust financial controls, improve processes and provide timely financial insight across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent preferred; experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Own UK month-end close and statutory reporting for the UK business.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs (P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow).
• Coordinate external audit, tax advisers, and statutory filings; maintain robust financial controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning with stakeholders.
