Allianz Partners UK is seeking an experienced UK Operations Risk & Control Officer to partner with Risk, Compliance and business stakeholders and strengthen the first line of defence. The role owns risk activities and supports the risk management framework to ensure robust controls and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar risk/controls role in financial services.
• Experience delivering 1LoD risk & control activities with strong governance.
• Understanding of UK regulatory expectations and risk management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate 1LoD risk activities within the function.
• Design and maintain 1LoD controls aligned with UK framework.
• Test control design and effectiveness; support RCSA and attestations.
• Track remediation and escalation of audit findings and incidents.
• Monitor risks, KRIs, and risk appetite; provide risk MI.
• Represent risk profile in governance groups and drive improvements.
