Job summary

Gamma Communications plc is hiring a Software Engineer to develop and maintain the Group Applications suite of UCaaS and CCaaS solutions. You will work across platform and web/desktop interfaces, collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver new features while maintaining system stability.

You will apply TypeScript, Node.js and React skills, with opportunities to mentor juniors and mentor others.

Qualifications

Strong experience with TypeScript.
Good knowledge of HTML/CSS (3+ years).
Experience mentoring junior engineers.
Knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP is beneficial.
Kubernetes knowledge is beneficial.
VoIP/WebRTC experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product and engineering peers to scope, plan and estimate requirements.
Adhere to defined engineering practices and processes.
Develop new features and functionality across the platform and applications, while maintaining the stability of the existing codebase using TypeScript, Node, React.
Integrate with third‑party services and tools ensuring best practice integrations and stability.
Develop REST APIs following standard conventions.
Produce Solution Design documents detailing security considerations, testing, and impact across the stack.
Take an active role in peer code reviews and code deployment via CI/CD pipelines.
