Job summary

Gamma Communications plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the development and maintenance of Gamma’s Group Products suite, including proprietary OSS/BSS and UCaaS & CCaaS solutions.

You will lead technically complex development across the platform, mentor engineers, and shape scalable architectures while collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure security, performance, and reliability across services.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with TS/Node.js/React/Angular.
• Proven ability to design scalable APIs and systems.
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes in production.
• Experience mentoring engineers.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead technically complex development across the platform, building new features and maintaining existing systems.
• Collaborate with product, architects, and engineering teams to scope, plan, and estimate scalable solutions.
• Design and develop secure, high-performance APIs and integrate third-party tools and services.
• Produce and review detailed Solution Design documentation with security and performance in mind.
• Drive high standards through code reviews and mentoring.
