Job summary
Gamma is expanding its Group Applications team in the UK, delivering UCaaS and CCaaS solutions. We’re looking for a Software Engineer to help build features across platform UI and web/desktop interfaces, using modern JS tech.
You’ll collaborate with product and engineering, write robust tests, and contribute to CI/CD deployments. Gamma values collaboration, growth, and inclusive teams, with comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Strong TypeScript experience and good working knowledge.
- Extensive experience developing applications with React.
- Good HTML/CSS knowledge with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
- Experience with JavaScript unit and e2e test frameworks (Jest, Playwright).
- Experience deploying code via CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
- AWS/Azure/GCP knowledge is beneficial.
- Kubernetes knowledge beneficial.
- VoIP/WebRTC experience beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and engineering to scope, plan and estimate requirements.
- Follow defined engineering practices and processes.
- Develop new features across platform and applications using TypeScript/Node/React.
- Integrate with third-party services ensuring stable, best-practice integrations.
- Develop REST APIs following best practices.
- Create Solution Design docs covering security, tests and impact.
- Ensure test coverage with Jest/Playwright across the stack.
- Participate in peer reviews and deploy code via CI/CD.
