Job summary

Prismatic Ltd. in Alton is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to define and implement advanced DC power architectures for UAV platforms, including electric and hybrid-electric propulsion.

You will work on power generation, storage, and management, and lead testing from component to system levels. The role requires a degree in Electrical/Aerospace/Mechatronic engineering and at least 5 years in DC power systems, with experience in UAVs and aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop DC power generation, storage, and management systems.
• Define integrated requirements and test strategies across systems including software.
• Test and evaluate power systems from unit to full system integration.
• Deploy on flight trials to support battery/power integration and testing.
• Create assembly documentation to assist manufacturing.
