Remedy Social Care is seeking a Social Work Team Manager for Shropshire council's UASC and Pathways team. The role involves leading a 7-person team and chairing multi-agency meetings related to permanence planning and risk management.

The position requires safeguarding expertise, performance oversight, and the ability to cover duty manager duties for CLA/UASC. DBS enhanced disclosure is required and locum registration with Remedy is necessary.

Aufgaben

• To manage the UASC and Pathways Social Work Team, responsible for UASC and looked after children 16 to 18 years.
• Supervise a team of 7 social workers, meeting the requirement for all children to receive supervision on a 4 weekly basis.
• To chair multi-agency meetings in relation to permanence planning and risk management, providing comprehensive management oversight to progress young people's plans.
• To quality assure key documents and assessments in a timely manner as part of care planning regulations and to meet the needs of the service.
• To provide performance oversight for the team, attending a weekly performance meeting to share current data and agree a plan to remedy any outstanding tasks.
• To act as a duty manager for the CLA and UASC Service, covering annual leave and staff sickness.
• Successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS.
