Job summary

Our client in Ripley is seeking a Tyre Technician to join their fast-fit automotive team. You will carry out tyre fitting and repairs, and support with brakes, exhausts and basic servicing.

Based at their retail centre, this permanent role offers a clear training and progression path, excellent training, and a competitive salary of £29,000–£31,000 plus a potential £3,600 OTE bonus. Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30, with Saturdays on a rota.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence held for at least 6 months.
• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience working as a Tyre Technician.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out accurate tyre fitting, replacements and repairs.
• Carrying out fast-fit mechanical work, including exhaust and brake repairs and replacements.
• Carrying out basic servicing work.
• Maintaining accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry-leading standards.
• Ensuring customers' vehicles are left clean and free from any dirt, oil or marks resulting from the work carried out.
• Working with the rest of the workshop team to achieve targets.
• Working safely and in line with company health and safety procedures.
