Job summary

Malvern Tyres requires a Tyre Technician/Driver to join the Weston super Mare depot on a full-time basis. You will fit and repair tyres on cars and vans, perform basic servicing, and manage stock including deliveries and invoicing.

You will use our computer system to log jobs and generate customer invoices while delivering high standards of customer service to customers and suppliers. Full training will be provided with opportunities to learn new skills.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence required.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Fitting and repairing tyres on cars and vans.
• Carrying out suspension, brakes and general servicing repairs.
• Stock handling, deliveries, checking stock levels.
• Delivering tyres to other garages and handling payments.
• Using the computer system to log jobs and generate invoices.
• Liaising with customers and suppliers to provide excellent service.

Job description

Malvern Tyres require a Tyre Technician/Driver to join the Weston super Mare depot on a full-time basis., As a Tyre Technician/Driver your duties will include

• Fitting and repairing tyres on cars and vans,
• Carrying out suspension, brakes and general servicing repairs,
• Stock handling, including picking, accepting and checking deliveries and general monitoring of stock levels,
• Delivering tyres to other garages,
• Handling cash payments
• Using our computer system to check for stock, log completed jobs and generate customer invoices,
• Liaising with customers and suppliers, delivering excellent customer service at all times
  We're looking for someone who is reliable, has a 'can do' attitude, excellent time keeping and works well under pressure, multi-tasking to meet deadlines.

We need you to have:

• A full UK driving licence
• A positive and self-motivated attitude
• The ability to work both as part of a team and independently
• The ability to communicate in a professional but friendly and approachable way

It would be great if you have:

• Previous tyre fitting experience
• Mechanical knowledge
• Proven experience of delivering a high standard of customer service in a previous role
• A basic level of computer skills
